In the hope of cheering up others with similar ED and incontinence issues I thought I'd pass on some of my progress.
My surgery was on May 18 (open pubic)and catheter out June 2. I was 10-12 pads a day for the first 2 weeks and then plateaued at 8-9 pads a day for 8 weeks. I has severe muscle spasms for the first 5 weeks which interferred with my kegels. about 3 weeks ago I had a sudden decrease in pad consumption, down to 4-6 and then a few days later I had a couple of 3 pad days. Yesterday was only 2 but today will probably be 4.
The way things are going I could be pad free in a couple of months...if not sooner. I was lamenting my poor continence only a few weeks ago and am really heartened by the sudden improvement. ED is also progressing and the addition of an Osbon pump has allowed me to acheive penetration. Viagara gets me real close but but not quite hard enough.
...and my first 3 month post-op PSA was "undetectable".
all good news, I see light at the end of the "return to normalcy tunnel"
This forum has been a great help in my progress.
