Hi to all on HW, been away for a while, mother had heart attack (she is 94) and lives interstate, fortunately she has pulled through it, and back on the road to recovery.

David, am sorry about your ongoing saga, and hope sincerely that sometime in the future, hopefully not too long, your problem will be resolved.

Hi to Tony & all the guys, me, I am going ok, Oncologist told me in August, "there is nothing we need to do with you at this time, go enjoy yourself, and see you in 12 months". Felt so good went out and spent some more of the kids inheritance, and bought a new SUV.

So life goes on, Lawn bowls summer competition starts in November, can't wait.

All my very best to my friends on this friendly, informative, and lifesaving forum.

Hey Mal, glad to hear things are good.

Just got s joke on internet about an 85 year old who got an SUV for his birthday.

Wow his friend exclaimed. An SUV. That is great !

Yep he said, Socks, Underwear, and Viagara.

Hope yours is at least that good.

It's good to hear from you, my friend. Sorry about your mother, but glad she's pulled through. Good that you have been able to enjoy some quality time off. I hope to at some point in the future.

If your still playing Lawn Bowls, it's likely a hard surface in Perth this time of year... What are you trying to do with an SUV in Australia? Stay safe? Uh, yea right!

Hi Tony, don't follow your question, AWD cars are the biggest seller in Perth, much safer than a sedan, ( Electronic stability control, DSC, ABS, 6 airbags including curtain airbags, reversing camera, high driving position, 17 in wheels etc. ) thought I deserved a present, I drive on dirt roads a bit, this car can take me places my other car can't.

Good to hear from you Mal and sounds like life is going well. I help take care of my 83 yo Mother and it can be stressful but rewarding. Congrats on the new SUV as it sounds like a top of the line. My grandson cant understand why I dont have a 4 wheel drive on my druck and no diesal engine. I try to tell him I dont go off road and my gas mileage is better, but he still wants that 4 wheel drive. Have a good summer, which should be heading your way soon.

Good news and enjoy the SUV....fully...for the next 12 months and longer! Sorry to hear about your mother, but glad to hear she is recovering.

Hi Mal, I glad you and your Mom are doing well. You Mom has set the trend for you to live a long life with zeroes. My mother in-law will be 100 years old in May, we hope she makes it.
