To James,
I am sorry. This is an important topic to me. I have done my best not to mention a deity, a religion, or specifically mention any ones's name, even tho I have been accsued of several interesting things. I am sad and disappointed that we can't give each other the respect each other is due, without hurling insults and accusations at each other. What a shame to have to hide behind a rule so we can act like 10 year olds.
I just completed the absolute best exercise a man could do to help his emotional and mental well being. I participated in the GFMPH weekend at Worried Guys house. ( I know, I screwed up on using his computer ).
I just spent a weekend with some of the finest guys I have ever met. We talked about every facet of PC, and did a lot of talking about non-PC issues as well. I came back feeling renewed. I would recommend that all of you guys find a way to get together with some other guys with PC, and do the same. Spend some time encouraging them. Listen to them. I would recommend eating some large steaks with chicken Gumbo and fried green tomatoes. A great breakfast casserole with bacon on top would be a good idea too. A little beer or wine also helps a little too.
As I (Goodlife) have stated openly, I have no axes to grind with anyone, and if someone wanted to talk about how they coped with their PC, through whatever method or technique they choose, I would respect their opinion, and if I didn't agree, would just not post.
My e-mail is active, and I will gladly talk with anyone who would like to talk to me off line.
I am hopeful that we can figure out a way to talk about very important PC matters without offending some folks who apparently do have an axe to grind. Maybe the adminstrator can give us a special chat time slot or something.
Thank you James for moderating.
