On the lighter side

I have been experiencing a great deal of discomfort since my robotic surgery. I recently went to urinate and felt  what I thought was a stone passing through my urethra. Upon closer surveillance it is a small medical clip that had a piece of suture attached to it. I almost fainted when I realized what it was. It looks like something that would clip off a vein or small vessel. Anyway this is strange but I thought it might add a lighter side to a serious prostate cancer disease.

You are not the first to tell of roving surgical clips, but it does always bring a shudder and and 'ouch!' when I read about them.

Better that it passed than 'had to be removed'!

You shouldnt be too surprised about it being in the bladder. The most complicated part of the surgery is the delicate rejoining of the urethra adn bladder neck, there's plenty of time during that phase for debris to makes its way in.

These episodes are rare, but every time I hear one, it makes my willy scream.

Maybe that is why I experience some pain when I have to urinate instead of "the urge."  Goes away when I begin to urinate.   Things that want to make you say Hmmmm...

Dang that sounds painful, yikes.
Hopefully there aren't any more floating around.
