Thanks for all the input. Tomorrow is D-day. Traveled 12 hours to Mayo, last 3 hours on ice patches, yesterday. Pre-op procedures and tests today, RRP tomorrow about noon. Next post will be post-surgery. Will keep you all up-to-date in future to help others like you all helped me.

Hey, good luck flyer! Keep us posted.. The trip on the icy roads will be the worst part..

I've been thinking about you and your 12-hour drive. Glad you made it OK. The surgery should be a piece of cake after that ordeal. Look forward to hearing from you on the other side of surgery.

Now it is ouchy ouch time for awhile! I hope you find that the RRP lives up to it's billing in comfortable recovery, it did for me. I got soms good books and spent lots of time in the recliner. Hoping you have a speedy pain free recovery.
