Father of Two posted the following under the recent "Peeing" post:
Hello All. This is my first post. I had surgery one week ago and had my cathetar removed this morning. I came to this forum looking for just this type of information. I have yet to have one "normal" (stand up) pee and the best I have managed is a few very brief streams while trying to go No. 2. I was healthy before, but have not started keagles or anything. Any advice is truly appreciated.

Welcome, Father of Two-as we say, sorry you have to be here/glad you found us. You're way too early in the game to worry about normal streams/ continence, etc.-----I think most of us had shaky starts to our peeing process, including the one you experienced/described. Give it some time, walk a tolerable amount every day, drink lots of water, and listen to you body when it needs to rest. Things will begin to "normalize" before long. Of course, we're all different, but the first day of catheter removal won't be an accurate gauge of how you will be. Relax and feel free to fire off any/all questions.
