Hello All,
As can be seen in my signature, I has SRT early last spring and a great 1st post SRT PSA value of 0.02 in June. My next scheduled PSA would have been 6 months later in December. My wife and I had discussed never scheduling a PSA test in the November-December time period again due to the dynamics of test anxiety and worries and its effect on the important family time we enjoy during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
During our jouney with PCa we have had a couple of Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons with me in a depressed and reclusive state. Basically sitting holed up at home... This year, we had a great holiday season and enjoyed a lot of true quality time with our family and other loved ones... I cannot convey in words the amount of joy I felt to see my wife and partner smile, laugh, and play so hard with the kids and grandkids.
So after New Years on Jan 7th, I scheduled for my PSA test to be on Monday, Jan 10th... Short time period between actually scheduling and getting it... Little time for anxiety to knaw away at me... Got the results back by phone today and it was 0.01.... Yahoo.... Confirmed and truly back in the Zero Club.... Step up to the bar and I will buy you all a nice large schooner of Pomegranite Beer...
God Bless All!
