Ok, I have posted before about my Uro Dr. not wanting to discuss injections at my 3 month post op visit.  I am making some progress in the ED area, I am taking 5 mg Cialis daily at first I saw some inprovement with that now not alot, I have tried Viagra and Levitra and again maybe some help but not alot. The pump with the constriction ring I can get 100% for a while. with the ring I can maintain 50-60% for few minutes. without pump and alot of manual stimulation I can get maybe 60% with noticable loss of length.  

So here is the question for you guys...  Should I demand my Uro to start me on injections to better my erection status and speed the allready fast recovery ( I do recocognize I am recovering fairly quickly) But I know guys with more recovering at just 2 months post op.  Or do I just let time be the healer here like my Dr. wants me to do and just wait.  I know a Dr. I can switch to that will start me on the injections. I do not want to wait and loose any benifit.  And if I start now will I become more dependant on the injections to get and maintian a "normal" erection?

Injections are not for recovery. They are for intercourse for guys that need assistance in that department.

I didn't attempt injections till the 9 month meeting. Doc offered them at the six month mark but I passed. I wanted to see what mother nature had to offer.

There are a couple studies out (I don't have them right now, but will be glad to look) that suggests that early use of injections will increase the rate of recovery of function after an RP. I know that a lot of ED specialists will now suggest early use of it, to help exercise, stimulate nerves and tissue and such.

Thank you James! thats the studies I have read and why I wanted to try or at least hear from others about using it for this reason. I can achieve a "usable" erection with the Osbon pump and a ring. so sex can happen now but I want to get back to more spontanious erection so want to use the injections to increase blood flow and stimulate nerve endings. I am an acupuncturist and attribute alot of my "faster than average recovery" thus far to the nerve stumlation of acupuncture from self treatments. and no that does not mean needles directly in the penis...

James you posted something about 2 weeks ago about using the injections, it was a long post and i did not print or keep it would you mind sending to me either via email or on this thread please

I second James comments

My Dr told me it is imperative to have regular full erections and intercourse so as to not only aid in recovery but to prevent atrophy. Injection therapy is one of the solutions to address that issue
