I need Caverject dosage advice guys

Hi folks,

I have been given the green light by the surgeon to start using Caverject for penile therapy, i was using it for my ED prior to my surgery and had been using it for four years.

I am pleased to be able to start with this but i am anxious about the dosage, i have the Dual Chamber system where i can dial the doseage as 5, 10, 15 or 20 microgram. Prior to my surgery i was using 15 or 20 depending on how enthusiastic we were and what time of night i injected. But i was advised not to use these dosages yet and use lower as therapy for the blood flow. So please guys, those of you that have been here before me, give me your feedback as regards how you started and how you progressed with it.

Bob - am I missing something? Your doctor gave you advise didn't he? Therapy should last a few months and then you can think about playing harder....

Unless the doc discussed it with you in specific terms ( he did, didn't he?) and told you not to return to your old rate of 15 to 20, then I'd start with the minimum that I can dial in and work from there. Since you say he said to dial it down and work on blood flow, it seems like you would use the minimum setting to inject the least amount as possible. Just my opinion, though.

Are you using the Caverject Impulse pre-loaded,crack the vial and mix, then dial your setting ,oneshot deal? If so, there's a stopper ring on the dial that can be removed or moved aside and allow for multi-use, rather than having to discard after one use. That stuff is expensive enough as it is, without throwing it away. Refrigerate after first use and you can get a few doses. That was my experience with it.

This is not about getting horny now and i know that, i was just seeking advice about dosage for therapy, i do not want to be fully erect now because i think that would be too risky on the new join in the Urethra. I have never been anxious about injecting before but i am now. I need to go slowly and not put anything at risk.

I know the guys on oral meds for penile therapy talk about how much they cut their tablets up by to reduce the dose and wondered what others had found with Caverject, guess i will start with 5 and see how i go.

I had my surgery 26 months ago, my general health is very good, but I have tried almost every med available to be able to achieve an erection that would enable penetration, so far the best result has been the caverject 40 mg BUT it still does not provide the effect I so dearly yearn for ! I have tried on one occasion and injected twice one @ 40 mg and another 10mgs that proved to be a big inprovement but I am worried as to what exactly constitutes a safe dose, as I am from the other side of the pond I have no worry in supplies [thanks to our national health system]

Really would appreciate to here if any of you guys have ever injected more than 4omgs
