Well went to the doctor fri, had my psa check and it was up again its starting to pick up speed ,last month it went up 1.39 this month it was up 1.67 now it up to 8.48 . scan are in 6 weeks will see what they show then.   alf203

Wow, that is an awful big jump in one month. Perhaps you should get a re-test.

thanks guys for the input, I go in every 4 weeks for a psa test and zometa, there keeping a very close eye on me . The psa jumps around a lot it moves at a rate of .50-1.40 up or down , but it has been on a steady climb the last 3 months, chemo is the next step if the scans show growth or spread to new places. been down this road before . alf
