How time has moved along the GRMPH gathering is approaching at warp speed.   We are gettein all geared up for the gathering.  Looks like a great group of guys are planning to attend. 

We will have guys here from as far north as Canada and for as for south as Florida.  I think our visiter from the west would from Idaho and I guess north east would have to be New York.   South west is covered by Texas.

I am still waiting of a couple of guys who are on the fence.  That is fine I can wait till the last moment for these.

The excitement is building and I have talked to a few of the guys.  The local guys are lineing up to help. :)

Jeff, I am truly excited for you, and for those on the confirmed list. I am still straddling that fence, trying to make it happen, working on some last minute tax preps for a couple of biz, that should give me the travel money, my daughter at the travel agency is on standby with me to make last min reservations. would fly southwest out of gsp to houston then back to baton rouge if that would be ok.

Jeff - am looking forward to visiting all of you - have been watching "swamp people" on TV so I can try to understand the h'accent - and am learning how to make male guards out of spanish moss.... just in case

(it's cheaper for me to fly and visit Jeff in Baton Rouge than it is to visit Vancouver, British Columbia -or St. John's, Newfoundland - and much warmer too)

Jeez-Oh-Pete, can't it be here yet. I am not one to wish any part of my life away, but I sure wish I was packing for the trip tomorrow.

I am trying to fill all of the days with fishing, shrimping, home projects, travel, dates with Lynn and so forth, but the days leading up to departure are sure seeming to drag by.

The sad part of this deal is that when we do get together the time will pass so quickly that we will all wish the gathering could go on just a little bit longer.

Looking forward to it, yeah

David, we are on standby for you my friend. The Baton Rouge Airport is just 20 min from my house. Bronson hope you got that accent down so I can drop you off in the swamp area and you will fit in fine. LOL

Jeff:

Do explain to our Canadian friend Bronson, that in the usual sense of being "dropped off in the swamp" has dual meanings, and make imply a one way ticket. Then we could go through his luggage and split up all the good stuff. Remember, we have swamps here in SC, and a "Swamp Party" means something different here.

Bronson: Clarification,, Drop you off in the swamp is an expression meaning to bring you to the swamp to enjoy the wonderful sights, sounds, food, and people. Not derogative in any way. Remember we are very proud of our swamps. Just need to practice that flat toung accent with a bit of french and souther souther drawl. :)

It was ment as haveing a wonderful time visiting what I consider some of the most beutiful sights you can see from nature.

Hope that helps you understand that statemnt better.

Cajun Jeff and Purgatory - this Canuck understood both of your postings -

- keep in mind, a good number of your most successful comedians came from Canada ....

- there was even a TV special years back called the "Canadian Conspiracy" using Canadian comedians as secret agents infiltrating American culture....
