BTW. This is a big site and navigation is difficult. I noted on your blog that your T levels were still castrate after coming off ADT. May I enquire how you are doing as your T levels rise ?

Are you monitoring PSA, LH/FSH, T and estrogen levels regularly? Are you taking anything to ensure your estrogen levels do not interfere with your recovery?

First off welcome to HealingWell. This is a great website with quite a bit of traffic on it. It's good in one sense ~ there is also a greta deal of information. I hope you stay around and try to get used to the information flow. You are a veteran with this disease and I am certain that you would be more on the side of providing information to others...

I need to update that section of my blog site as I have since had three doctors visits since. Currently my testosterone is at 265 as of November 2010. My next visit to Dr. V. is set for April. We discovered that I was suffering from hypogonadism prior to my diagnosis. My T levels were only at 218 when my first PSA came back at 19.8. My family doctor did not make a note of it as the PSA was his concern. But the irony was that I had a slight bout of ED when I went in and he ordered up the tests. Go figure, it was a bit of luck.

After I came off HT we were monitoring lots of things. But strangely my T levels were still on the low end of normal. Thats when we went back on my blood panel history and discovered the low T's prior to any therapy.

It's good to hear from you, Sam. I like seeing the guys who supposedly had bad prognostic indicators posting 15 years later... It's fresh air to me...
