Jerry, I think I might have told you that my RO at Mayo said last November, when I had what they thought was a met (after bone scan and mri) even with a low psa of 1.0 he didn't want to radiate or biopsy until on HT for a while because HT can change things. At the 4 month HT, a bone scan said 'no abnormal foci of radiotracer activity to suggest metastatic osseous disease" which the doc said meant no mets. I asked if the hot spot in November might not have been a met and he said yes, thats why he didn't want to subject me to a biopsy or radiation at that time. He also said "early HT can eliminate minimal metastatic burden" and that is why he wanted to start HT at psa of 1.0.
