Cialis vs Viagra. Newbie checking in.

I am from Louisville. 51. Insulin Dependent Diabetic since 08.

I have been reading the forums for a while. I know there is a post concerning this subject but wanted to ad my experience.

I have found that with either Viagra or Cialis, if you take aspirin at the same time, the headaches aren't there. None. I take 3 aspirin when I take my Cialis.

Cialis last's longer. Exactly how long, I don't know but I do know in the morning after I am well ready for round 2 or 3. At times even after lunch the next day. I take it on an empty stomach and a little later, giving it time to be absorbed into my system, I eat a snack. I also have to be careful with my BG numbers.

The one question I have that somewhat concerns me? Is anyone having dreams or thoughts about weird things? Unusual things?

After taking Cialis on occasion for a while it seems I am having sexual dreams and thoughts that I didn't have before?

I havent had any anxiety issues that I know of or connected to it as of yet.

As far as taking on empty stomach, that is just my preference to aid in digestion a little quicker. I do however, make sure I take aspirin at the same time.

As far as it being more fun taking Cialis, I agree. My wife says I dont need it. However, she gets more for her money when I take it....

Cialis stays in your system for 36 hours, the longest of the ED meds. It is also what my uro prescribed for penile rehab, 5mg daily. So far after close to 4 months post op, not enough wood to start a fire. Apparently though that's not entirely unexpected or unacceptable since the presence of a PDE5 inhibitor is beneficial for long term penile tissue health.

Of the three, Cialis has fewer side effects for me and I like that it has a lasting effect. Prior to my surgery my uro had me on 5mg Cialis and tossed in a few 20 mg for fun. For a day and a half just the slightest breeze would raise the flag full mast, my wife wasn't amused, I loved being a teenager again.

My script is for 20mg but if I take the 20 it gives me the jitters or something. It totally does what it is supposed to do if I take the 20mg through the next day though.

I fill my script for 5 at a time, and break them in half which gives me 10 dosages and this works fairly well for me.

dtherren: Levitra also requires empty stomach.

Best 2 hours before or after meals. (okay, that gives you about a 15 minute window...) but I find that for me, if I take it an hour to hour and a half before dinner, I can eat, drink (within reason) and be merry, and still have a positive effect for activity after all that.
