I don’t think so.   Why then do people hold purely emotional views on complementary medical tactics such as pomegranate juice/extracts which have been shown to slow PC progression.   Who is against slowing PC progression?   When it comes to slowing PC progression, likes and dislikes should matter far less than evidence.     Slowing PC progression could help thousands of men, and many of our posters right here at HW.   We have been presented with the reliable, scientific evidence that pomegranate juice does just that.   Who in the world is against this?  (...and if you are, why in the world are you here?)

Reachout, there are pill forms of pomegranate extract. Do a google search and you will be inundated. Prices are ridiculous on some but I buy mine from a supplement supplier and they are relatively inexpensive.

So, just to clarify on pomegranate, it's been shown to not do much to prevent or cure prostate cancer, but after recurrence it's been shown to slow PSA doubling time. Is that it in a nutshell? It's been a few years since I worried about things like this, since I foolishly thought I was cured.

that's sort of my understanding.  wouldn't it be nice to delay or avoid HT?  i'd say so after nine months of lupron.
