And that perspective would be my own.
My blog has been updated with my adjuvant therapy story which began four years ago tomorrow. many continue to ask me about
it so I decided to make it a blog post. Here is that post:
www.caringbridge.org/visit/tonycrispinoI believe in this protocol at least for the stage III guys. Also the stage 3b guys have even more ammunition to consider this protocol with recent studies showing excellent survival benefits. Back when I made this decision it wasn't well documented but to me it was logical to add therapy when I knew the odds were against me. It also made sense to kick this thing while it was down. I do understand that it will take a while to prove anything. And in my one case I might not ever prove anything. But I think it was worth it. I hated the hormonal therapy the most and I still fear the possible repercussions of the addition radiation therapy. But I am satisfied with the attack on prostate cancer and the results I have had thus far...
