The trimix works pretty well for my ED, at 36 units, as far as the erection itself. However, I note that actually achieving a climax through penetration alone is nearly impossible. I don't have the best back, or stamina, so I give up after 10 minutes or so of trying. I'm wondering if this is commonplace with Trimix, or similar therapies, or if I'm just not using enough. My doc said I could go up to 40, but so far I've held back out of fear of having to go to the ER. On the other hand, I think my erection is only about
80%, so maybe I'm being too conservative.

I think most of us that have used TriMix have found that at times (not always) Climax does not happen. I need to clarify this... Not even most of the time just occasional there is an issue with climax. Still fun trying to get there!

You might want to have your T level checked for low testosterone. I am having increased difficulty climaxing during sex even though the erections are fine with trimix. I'm convinced its from having low T, desire seems to be the issue with me

Frankly, I also have desire issues but can achieve penetration with Trimix, just no climax. about
the T, I'm not sure what could be done even if it was low. The thought of supplemental T scares the heck out of me thinking it may feed remaining cancer cells. What do you think?

Well yes, reachout, that is the big question. Why check the T level if you're not going to do anything about
it? I think you should have a T test just to know where you stand. If it's normal than you know that's not the problem. If it's low than you're like me, you have to decide if the potential gain in quality of life is worth the risk of possible recurrence. On another thread swimmom said her husband has been on T for 6 years with no recurrence. So it's working for him. More and more studies are showing it's safe to use T if you have low risk gleason 6 cancers with no (apparent) spread. This is a very big individual decision for sure..........

I have put off using Trimix since the suppository trimix gel left me with a nasty burning sensation. But after two different formulas of bimix, I have noticed a reduction in vaginal climax with the double strength, which is 26 mg/ml papaverine/2 mg/ml phentolamine versus the single strength 30 mg/ml papaverine/1 mg/ml phentolamine. So I wonder if the phentolamine is the culprit?
The reason I am trying the double strength is to reduce the amount injected, 0.8 ml single vs 0.5 double. Overall I'd say the double isn't double since it should be equivalent to 1.0 ml of the single. I'm not getting what I would call a better erection with the double and the increase in phentolamine seems to be dulling my climax.
My next visit I'll discuss straight papaverine, possibly 40mg/ml and see what the doc figures.
