Lung cancer patient~homeless man~gets his final wishes in the hospital...dog comes to him

Atleast this man got his final wishes, which was not asking for to much. What a good dog too.

Speaking of dogs. I buried my 16 year old chocolate lab on Tuesday, never been sick in her life, just lived a long time. We also have a 8 year old black lab and got him when he was 8 weeks old. As far as he knew that other lab was his mother, even though he weighs 112 and she only weight 60, she was the boss and he would always look to see if she was going to do something before he would do it.

I have come to the conclusion this week, that dogs mourn, as Rudy has not eaten since Tuesday and has stayed pretty much under our deck except when we coax him out or go for a walk. He always wants to go to the farm with me on the weekends so he can play in the pond, today I couldn't get him to jump in the back of the truck. If he doesn't start eating by Tuesday, will have to take him to vet. Went this morning, but the 3 vets in our town are closed til Tuesday.
