I am curious if anyone else is experiencing a constant weight loss during their journey. I had RPP on 9/8/2010 weight at that time was 162-165, which was about
normal for me. PSA on January 20, 2011was <.03, weight was around 145. Which I attributed to me new diet of no fats, dairy products, red meat, etc. Only whole grain bread, vegetables, fish, oatmeal, soy products, fruits, etc. In addition I was walking 1.5 miles a day. Prior to surgery I made no concentrated effort to walk or exercise. Only exercise I got was yard, work, household chores, that sort of thing.
Started ART in February 2011. Weight continued downward. It seemed to reach a new low, stay there for awhile, then fall a little further. For example it would go to 142, stay there for a week or two, then fall to 140. Stay at 140 for a week or two then fall to 138. Well this morning I reached a new low of 136.5. PSA if .04 on May 16th. Starting to get a little worried. Talked with GP and he did what all doctors do, took a blood test. The test all within acceptable range. Some elevated a little such as low B-12. He attributes weight loss to diet. I can see a certain amount, but this is overdoing it. I think I am keeping Kohl’s mens wear in business.
Anyone else has had this problem?
