Hi Mel,
Thanks for the information. If the 0.6 PSA was done at Dr. Scholz it is probably a DPC Immulite assay PSA. That alone can account for a difference in result if you have been using a different assay all along. Why don't you retest once you get back home using the same PSA you have been using before SRT? Just an idea...

Mel and Ralph; My thoughts exactly. Can't hurt. My SRT failure was based on doubling time over three months. PSA was taken monthly from the same lab.

Can different assays vary THAT MUCH?

My next monthly PSA tests will be done locally (as were all the oothers except this last one).
