Had a bit of a bad few weeks. Trying to do stuff, messages getting sent but not arriving, performance far below the norm, everything going very slow or not at all, generally feeling damp. Also incredibly tired, back ache and leg ache.

Anyway enough about my problems with internet and phones and ventilation and heating and bad weather during and after moving house. To say nothing of the muscle ache afetr shifting about 250 boxes. (We had a firm in to shift everything but still moved stuff ourselves to bes ure we knew where it was in the first 24/48 hours.) And, thus far, I have yet to accidentally drive/walk back to the wrong house.

So after nearly two weeks without internet I have popped back to HW. I am doing great and have passed the two year mark since surgery.
I have obviously missed a lot of news updates etc: so welcome to all the new guys, congratulations to those that have had good news and sorry about any that have had setbacks. Oh yes! and when David gets an Oscar for his film work how many at HW will get a mention in his acceptance speech.

I think chaos around moving is standard issue, but glad you are finding your way home smilewinkgrin

David will have a hard time with all the folks he needs to thank - they'll be pushing him off the stage!

Alf, it's good to have you back in the fold. After what you have been through the last couple of weeks, being back here and dealing with us will be a walk in the park.

Good to see you back posting, Alf. Glad you got the move behind you.

Don't worry, I would make a bad star, as I don't let public light and fanfare, would never want that. More the reclusive type by nature.

Your British humor and stiff upper lip were missed. Hope you can find your underware after the move, and are done barking your shin in the dark.

Goodlife - interestingly one member of the family did mislay their underwear after the move!
I have just been finding emergency caches of pads and underpants all over the place.

It appears I will be tsting my continence to the full this month by laying the paving for our new terrace.
