TRIMIX ingredients question

Yesterday I picked up from the local compounding pharmacy my triall 1ml vial of TRIMIX. I am having my URO do my  first injection this afternoon. The ingredients of the Trimix are:

Phentolamine .5mg

Papayerine 30mg

Prostaglandin 10mg/ml

First question is Prostaglandin the same as Alprostdil?

Also any comments about this particular mix and  it shows on label to use .3ml per injection?

I was pleasantly surprised how little the Trimix cost. 1ml was $30 and the pharmacy told me a 5ml vial for future use is only $60 for about 15 doses at .3ml. My insurance will not cover this or and ED treatments. I was paying out of pocket pre RALP for Viagra for 6 100mg pills about $130. Now I just hope it works and takes me back 20 years for my sex life yeah

Hey Water Guy

It is my understanding that Prostaglandin is the same as Alprostdil.

My perscription is:

Phentolamine 1mg

Papayerine 30mg

Prostaglandin 10mg/ml

I started at 10 units (0.1ml).  It was way too much.  Dropped down to 4 units (0.04 ml) and curently at 2 (0.2) units.  I've talked to other guys who started too high and worked their way (painfully) down to a lower dose.  You may want to consider talking to your doctor about starting at a lower dose and working your way up.  You may have to suffer through the disappointment of not getting results, but believe me that is better than a long lasting/painful erection.
