Holy Mackerel but has time flown by!
I had my second psa blood test post op yesterday. Happily, less than .01 again! This was 4 months roughly after my first test and I guess for me this was the big test. I figure if in the unlikely event that I see the disease kick back into gear, now would be the time.
I discovered as time went by that I had less and less to contribute here. Like so many before me, us G6 guys roll in and roll out. Sadly, the lingerers are still fighting this disease. As well, I also realized that I missed this site. The support, camaraderie, and information sharing is simply wonderful to both observe and participate in.
Amusingly, a week or so ago, I popped in, only to discover that the Samadi debate had started up again. It was like I never left!
So, I am happy to report that I feel terrific. No incontinence issues and the ED 85% gone. So, for all those terrified "newbies" (like me last October), know that in the hands of a skilled physician, you are more than likely to do just fine.
So, good luck to all my brothers here still fighting and those sorting out what to do after the diagnosis of Pc.
I had intended to celebrate my news with a killer red wine. Another discovery I made is that booze was not something I could tolerate, at any level of consumption. So ice cream is the new indulgence!
