Noticed earlier that I was about
to hit my 12,000th post at HW. I would like to dedicate this post and milestone to every Prostate Cancer victim that has perished from this terrible cancer. To their wives and loved ones, to their caretakers, to their doctors, to all those that cared for them in their fight for survival.
Despite many improvements in the past few years, far too many men are still dying every day from Prostate Cancer. We need better diagnostic tools, less invasive and more effective primary treatments. We need to see more money for serious research.
I view each brother who goes down in death from Prostate Cancer, as a true warrior, a champion. We fight hard to stay alive, and often are willing to do whatever it takes to extend our lives once with cancer, but unfortunately, that is not always enough. Men will keep on dying, despite the bravest of fights, the toughest of battles, and the best of the best treatments.
I can only hope and pray that one day, it can be better controlled, and this terrible death toll can be greatly reduced.
To those brothers that have died, and are yet to die, I salute your courage and strength. May peace be with you.
