When my URO ripped out my prostate fortunately he left me my warped sense of humor or I would have gone nuts by now turn and not have been able to attend GFMPH.

There is no doubt in my mind that somebody is gonna get hurt this weekend. Some of you might better second think this thing through.

I for one AM NOT gonna participate in the TW competition. As I have told my son for years, "I own a whole bunch of baseball hats and not one them says "STUPID" on it." That's my story and I am stickin to it.

Okay the list has been updated and we are now at 14 attendees and 4 lovely wives. I have all of the sizes for the mementos and all is good to go.

Any last minute additions need to get in touch with me quick.

Thanks all for your cooperation. Can't wait to see everyone.

I leave Orlando on the 10th for DC, and will be in the Bethesda area until the 22nd, just in case there are any HW members in the area that would like to get together for a coffee or lunch. Send me an email and we will make it happen.

WOOHOO.. My road trip headed to Rochester starts on Monday Labor Day. We are so fricken excited about seeing all the guys. All the guys that we have met before and the new guys that will attend this year.

This GFMPH stuff is growing like Crazy. For those of you that are close and can make it. You do know know what your missing till you show up and get a chance to shake the hand of your fellow PCa guys that you have exchanged so much info with.

Ditto to what Jeff just said. I leave on the 11th to head north and I am starting to pack the RV already. My wife asked me if I was anxious or what? Told her I was not anxious to leave her behind, but I was ready to see all my buddies again.

Looking forward to making a bunch of new friends too. Jeez, can the time crawl any slower. I am so jealous of Jeff and Bayou Jackal being on the road and heading that way on Monday.

I am also starting to receive some of the goodies that are being made for giveaways and they are turning out niiiccceee! Can't wait to put them into the guys hands.

I have never been one to wish away my life, but could somebody please wind the clock a little tighter for the next week. LOL

I am so excited that just thinking about GFMPH makes me wet myself (doesn't take much anymore) I pity the poor guy who has my airline seat after I leave the plane on the 22nd smhair

I really owe big thanks to Cajun Jeff, Sonny and Worried Guy for twisting my arm and threatening my wife with tons of unsolicited server blocking spam emails which convinced me to do GFMPH after all I am going for my prosate heath yeah

I plan to hold much of this event outdoors. Good thing. That way I can simply down all the lawn furniture when you guys leave! tongue

Just had the first pre-GFMPH meeting with Cajun Jeff his brother Roger their wives and myself on their way through Birmingham to Rochester this afternoon. If this meet and greet is any indication of the fun we will have in 2 weeks I can not wait, nothing but laughs and back slapping. This is going to be a gathering not to be missed by anyone if at all possible. nono

WOOOOHOOO only 2 more weeks.

Worried Jeff: I was about to lock into a flight today, will be there any problem with getting fetched from the Rochester airport early to mid-afternoon on the 23rd? And do you still have a place for this old man to sleep with the ability to wrestle with my device and a night catheter bag? My wife is saying : Go, go, go. Funds aren't a problem this time. I just don't want to be a bother to anyone there (you included), with some of my side issues and pain. Don't want to be the party pooper.

I'm sure we can pick you up at the airport. It is only 25 minutes away. You can have the back bedroom . It is a single bed but at least it is private
Hey, don't worry about being a party pooper. We are not all locked at the hip. If there is something you can't do, we won't hesitate to leave you behind. ;-) You'll find there are some guys who'll just want to nap and sit by the fire. Others will want to go to the gun show and blow up stuff. I know of at least two people who intent to test some recent purchases. We all do whatever is GFMPH and that is different for everyone.

We only need to have one meeting, planned for the afternoon on Sat., so we can discuss whatever needs to be discussed to make the trip, business, medical, or whatever for a tax write-off. Hey, you're the expert on this! Maybe you can set up and give us advice. :-)
I heard that a good tax deduction is GFMPH.

Thanks, Jeff and Terry. Think I will lock in the flight now. I was just glad I didn't have to go to Charlotte or Atlanta to make the flight, each is like 125 miles away. Only takes me 30 minutes or less to get to GSP airport here, I will be changing planes in Philly. Let you know as soon as I lock a flight.

Single bed is fine, enough room for me and my bag.

Well we have started our trek to Rochester for the GFMPH this very morning. Rained all the way to Chattanooga, TN. The only bright spot was getting to meet Terry the Water Guy. We stopped off for a quick sandwich and Terry and I with brother Roger talked the entire time. As with so many of the fellow HW brothers we made an instant connection. It will be great visiting with him again in Rochester. I had to call Sonny to let him know that Terry did pass the test! :)

Terry you will fit in well with all the guys. I see our friendship growing as see the possibilities of us getting to see each other more often than just at the GFMPH gatherings. He is a real PCa Brother.

Terry, Thanks for meeting us at our break in AL.

Jeff, there has to be a special award/designation in HW somewhere for the guy that travels and meets the most PCa brothers. I just knew that from talking with Terry on the phone that he would fit in well with the rest of us zanies.

David, glad to see you are planning to come on up to NY. You hadn't mentioned it in a while so I wasn't sure. You will enjoy the weekend for sure. Just be ready to laugh and then laugh again. These gatherings are all about the mental health and well being of us all.

Cajun Jeff ,will you guys be swinging by Cincinnati in your journey? It's 5 hours from Chattanooga and could very well be on your way up there. At least I could meet some one here who is going.

Just curious has anyone found a copy of the movie Porky's for out GFMPH screening?  If not I can get one from Amazon and volunteer to buy it and bring it with me, may have to charge $1 per person for the screening. Worried guy do you have a DVD player?
