So, although there might be some anectdotal cases of cures with HT therapies and anything is possible, this is not a one trick pony disease, many variations and types and even DNA structures, let alone the Gleason scores or missed biopsies info that is unknown.
Some people do way better than others, it is all about control.
Google search for Dr. Fred Lee (cryo inventor doc) whom was diagnosed with PCa like 27 yrs. ago now, he failed cure 25+ yrs. ago and is still working and alive...of course his drug choice is considered 'stupid' by some of the so called experts.
So far your response is typical of most or many patients. Now if it did not effect psa level that would be very worrisome early on with PCa. The good news is you can very well get a long term control and like many other patients, never die from PCa, but could from heart disease and other old age ailments, so consider that a goal perhaps. You should be under the advice of an oncologist as monitoring psa is not the only variable to watch.
