DaSlink, It may be necessary to try a wide variety of domestic and imported beers until you find the ones that are most agreeable to your bladder.
It will be tough work, but there's just no other way. Don't get discouraged.

Keep practicing! I recommend the darker ambers.
I actually passed up a beer at Chili's on Tuesday evening around 9:30 .. too close to bedtime.
I hope that is only a temporary constraint until I get through radiation.

I reckon gas in the gut from beer can press on the bladder and give it the sensation of being fuller than it actually is, as beer doesn't seem to increase the volume of urine I produce, though I now restrict myself to about
half a pint a week(!!!!).
I try pouring a bottled beer into a tall glass and making a lot of froth to reduce the amount of gas that goes down with the beer: breaks my heart as a one time bartender to pour beer so badly, but I'm the only one that sees it.
I drank some White beer last night mind you and I am very gassy at present, so might switch back to something darker. Also I sometimes find that drinking beer that hasn't been chilled helps, but if I have to take my drink warm and without the bubbles I'd probably rather have a red wine.
