Today I had the result of first post seed implant PSA. It is 1.1. Which is quite good. Unlike removal of prostate by surgery, the PSA is not expected to go to zero after seed implant. Because there are still normal prostate cells producing PSA. What is important it should either go down with time or remain stable. My next PSA check is in December. Hopefully, it would go down further.

sounds like a good first post-seed psa to me, and as you say, hopefullly the next couple of readings will keep it lower and lower

Great first PSA result – a halving of the PSA in the first 6 months post Brachy is considered good news. Maths was never my best subject but I make 3.4 down to 1.1 just 3 months post implant an excellent result!
Hope your general recovery going well too.
All the best to you.

That is a great result in such a short period of time and it sounds like you are doing well with SE. I hope it continues to go down for you. I am 5 weeks post seeds and will not get a PSA check until the 6 month mark. Best of luck.

Going,
Great news! Keep the good numbers coming. Glad to see the SE's are minimum. Regards,
Joe
