Sorry to hear about
your ordeal, but I hope you're feeling a whole lot better now.
I guess we never know for sure what the surgeon is going to encounter once he gets going, and that's why I favor a guy who doesn't have 3 more patients lined up for that day, and who doesn't feel he has to beat the clock or set world records for quickness. My surgery was a bit more than 4 hours because he found and removed some bowel adhesions caused by an infection when I was in the seventh grade. I spent 3 days in the hospital and was fortunate to get out then.
