Prostate Cancer Screening no Longer Needed ?

CNN announced today the the same group of jerks that told women that they no longer needed breast exams,now say that men should not get tested for PC since it is a waste and not enough men are dying from it.
They said that once DX, then the treatment is worse that the PC and the PC should be left alone.
What the heck is going on in this world.
These are the kind of people that I would like to catch in a dark alley somewhere and change their minds, if you know what I mean.

I was so angry that I just came on and posted before reading the others.
For me it is hard when someone tells me that cost is a factor in human life.
I spend $1,246.00 per month on cobra insurance. I have lost my ranch, all the cars as well as almost losing what little sanity I had over this surprise in my life and and all I want to do is spend as many years with my 7 year old as possible. I have read to many times and been told to many times by doctors and friends on here that everyone is different and conditions are subject to change at any given moment.
I am sorry I was just venting.
