The info is just out on the news about their contributions to make this happening for kids with cancers in the USA (UCLA Cancer Center).  A new concept of friendly enviroments and surrounding like aged kids to be with each other in serenity, fun, harmony during their cancer therapies. I think more info is at www.theWho.com   mentioning their contribution in this. Great idea and it generally perfect way to give back. The Magic Bus for kids enjoyment (LOL- I made that up right now).

 Gives a chance for kids to enjoy, interact, have more interests to share with like mindeds and a real support system  they can relate to. Roger Daltrey and Pete Townsend are making this happen with their fame and fortunes, a great legacy.  yeah - WHO's NEXT!  

Maybe this will start a rock revolution on all cancers...like Farm Aid, We are The World and other big causes.

David, please tell me you're kidding (LOL)? The rock group known as The Who is a classic rock band out of England...they've been together for over 40 years. They wrote and produced the first ever rock opera - Tommy, which was made into a movie. If you watch the TV show CSI (the original), the theme song is one of The Who's biggest hits (title is "Who Are You"). The Who rank up there with The Beatles and The Rolling Stones (except The Who is much better looking than The Stones). John and I had the great pleasure to attend a Who concert about 6 years ago when they came to New York...absolutely fabulous. They are my favorite rock band.

Their lead singer, Roger Daltrey, is active in the Queen's (of England, that is) charity for children with cancer. He has been active over there on behalf of sick children for years.

Sorry Sephie, didn't know what he was referring to, I was the kid the grew up listening only to classical music and opera. Can't say I have ever listened to their music, or if I did, didn't know who it was, lol. Hey, I am musically retarded.
