Didn't want our new friend to go unnoticed, so here is his first post:
This is my first post to this site. I recently had a DiVinci procedure on 10/26/2011.
After I was told my biopsy results were positive, I went through what is probably a normal reaction to the news. I visited both a radiation oncologist and a surgeon. I decided on the surgery as I wanted to have it out and I wanted the results of a post op biopsy. Hearing the size of the cancer was fairly small plus the negative margins was reassuring which is what I wanted from going through surgery rather than seed. The choice is a personal one that I made with my wife. Every person has their own priorities and reasons for their preferences so learn everything you can about your various options before making any decision.
