I finished my radiation treatments 7 weeks ago and all of my radiation symptons had gone away until now.  In the last couple of days I have to run to the bathroom as soon as I have the urge to urinate or I will wet my pants - not too funny.  The other day I was lifting 5 gallons of gas into the back of the pick up and did have an accident.  I had a urge this morning walking the dogs and did not make it back in time before another accident.  It is not much, but enough to have to change underwear.

Sometimes the urge to go just comes on without warning.

Has anyone experience this?  I am at the point of calling my urologist.  My oncologist at 4 weeks said that it takes 6 months or longer for the prostrate to hear from the radiation.  I am wondering if this is part of the healing.

I'm about 3 months post seeds. I have frequency at times. I just had a hernia operation and that made things worse for a week or so. I take Flomax and after the surgery the dose was doubled and that helped, but I will go back to the single dose next week.

Maybe Flomax would help. Also, for some funny reason, I often get a very strong urge to urinate when running water. Sometimes I have to do a little dance to stop it or run for the bathroom, although lately it's been better. "Sorry Honey, I can't do dishes, it makes me pee!"

Check with uro, but you can get delayed effects from RT, as the rays take a while to have their full effect.
And lifting 5 gallons of gas might have strained something, that took a few days to go wrong.
Have you changed anything else such as food or drink? Or have you been having more sex or attempted sex (sex in some positions definitely has an adverse effect on my bladder)
I'm 18 months on from SRT and occasionally have days when there is either a lot of rushing to WC to avoid leaks, and occasionally I get a few damp patches in underwear.
Biggest problem for me with this development is that it is not predictable. Once I've been to the bathroom I can now no longer tell when I'm next likely to need to go which makes being out and about more complicated, thus I have been using more "just-in-case" pads.
I have been trying to learn how to conquor this extra "urge to pee" sensation, and occasionally I find that I get a sort of "second wind" and the urge will switch off if I don't pee, however with more cold wind and cold weather around lately this has not helped.

Hope your situation improves one way or another.

I really have not changed anything or attempted sex.

I do have the same thing going on that you describe.  It is very unpredictable when the urge might come on and sometimes can just go away.  While other times I have to sprint to the bathroom.  The cold weather here is not helping either.

Today I am fine and seem to "know" that I have to use and just go. 

I really don't think I hurt myself lifting the gas.  I think the strain caused me to pee.  It was not much, just enough to spot.

I was worried yesterday and ready to call, but it seems like I have been poked so much the last few months that I just want to wait and see if this works out.  I had the same thing 3 weeks after radiation and stopped taking Flomax and then it stopped until now.  So I figured the flomax was bringing it on.

I know I can call and discuss this with either my oncologist or urologist anytime.
