So I decided to bump this up rather than start a new thread...
I sent the Dr. an email today updating him and asking a couple questions...
I asked him about
weight lifting being six weeks out from surgery now. I don't lift the poundage that I used to but I do like the weights and the high reps keep me toned. "You are free to lift weights. Be reasonable, but there are no real restrictions here." Can I start lifting the kids again (girls 4 and 2)? They need dad! "Lift your kids! Don't swing them up yet, but controlled, lifts and walking around is fine." Thank God, because it's the thing I've missed most after work. Lifts, hugs, and kisses. :)
I asked him about
viagra and erections. I told him that the best erection I've had was on a 50mg dose on a completely empty stomach. He said, "I can change the prescript
ion to cialis as you don't need an empty stomach." He was pleased with the report of the full-on erection with the 50mg of viagra. The wife and I got close to getting busy on Sunday at halftime, but I just couldn't quite manage it as we had a big breakfast while the kids were at the grandparents. I'll be happy to try again, however. :) Both eating more breakfast AND the afternoon delight!
I forgot to ask him about
slight pain after orgasm, but I'll do that in my reply tomorrow. It's not bad and I think it's chalked up to stretching the urethra and parts out again. But I'll ask to make sure there's not a concern I'm not aware of.
So this weekend I start back with light weight/ high rep weight training in addition to walking on the treadmill 3 or more times a week. I'm back to 45 minutes but not at the same incline as pre-surgery. But I WILL get there.
Work has been a nice diversion, altho the kids are INSANE and have nothing but Santa and presents on their minds, so there's little chance of actually teaching them much. But I'm happy to be around their energy.
Merry Christmas to all--- or Happy Hanukkah, as the case may be.
