Eight months ago, and with a PSA of .09, scans showed a spot on my pelvic bone. As you might imagine, this caused another wake up call (I was already awake by the way).
Fast forward --- I had a bonescan today and a CT scan a few months ago. Bonescan shows "a significant decrease in the uptake...". CT shows a much less intense area. Just as important, no new lesions.
I realize that I through the kitchen sink at it by introducing HT, radiating it, and starting XGEVA. I also realize that I have big fights ahead, but if I'm going down --- I'm going down swinging.
I can't really celebrate the zero club thing anymore (even though it is <.01). I have a very strange type of PC that doesn't give off much PSA, but because of this site - I'm learning a lot about it.
Everything is relative -- but, I'm going to celebrate this small victory.
Thank you all for your continued support and providing top notch information. The guys (and gals) that are on this board are the best.
Have a great Holiday.
