OK guys: Need a bit of help for you guys. Other are booking flights and we are trying to help with transportation from the airport. It will help me out if you can send me you flight info. If you don't want to post here. Send email.

If you are planning to rent a car in New Orleans and dont mind bringing someone in with you let me know.

If you want to post arrive Th am depart Sunday PM that's fine to. We can then try to match some guys up.

Looks like a great group attending.

If your driving in that will be good info as well.

The plan as of right now is for Lynn and I to arrive some time Thursday and leave whenever we feel like it. The "Beast" could be parked in your front yard for a while depending on the weather, LOL.

Of course you know that I am talking about Lynn feeling rested enough to make the trip home. She is definitely still planning on attending as long as her health allows it.

Glad to hear Sonny and Lynn are still on. Looking forward to meeting Lynn.

I'm scheduled to arrive in New Orleans at 5:47 Friday, and I plan to rent a car and drive up. If somebody needs a ride up at that time, no problem. I'll probably drive back down sometime Sunday afternoon and spend a couple nights checking out the jazz scene in New Orleans before flying home.

Is there any jazz in that town? tongue

I'm really looking forward to seeing you guys. Save me some jambalaya.

Jeff,

I was so happy that my husband wanted to attend! A breakthrough, if you will...

..then today we got the phone call that they will do a radical cystoprostatectomy in March. We will still be at MD Anderson at the time of the gathering.

You guys and gals have a great time, and send up a prayer if you get a free moment.

Shrimp boulettes will have to wait. :)

Arriving by spirits transport vehicle Thursday afternoon, ~ 4pm. Leaving, well, whenever, still by car.

Jazz in NO - last time I was there it was Wynton Marsalis in a loft at 2am. Another band was about done for the night, he showed up and got on stage. Back to the hotel after daylight. Good memories.

I am arriving in New Orleans on Thursday, April 19th at 10:38 a.m.. I am planning on spending the day in N.O., maybe the first night.  I am renting a little car for 5 days and leaving from New Orleans at 10:00 a.m. on Monday the 23rd.  If I can help out, let me know.

Jim and Marie (Wampus Cat and Alley Cat) will be driving in from Illinois. We have property and relatives  where I grew up in

Central Louisiana so we will be taking a week of vacation. Not sure right now if we will be in on Thursday or Friday. Does anyone have recommendations for a motel nearby? I was recently concerned about having to have radiation for the next two months

but that is off the table fortunately . (See my most recent post)

Looking forward to all that's ahead.

Round Trip - Dulles - New Orleans, Thursday arrive in New Orleans, Monday Departure

$261 on Delta - For a Round Trip ticket. I'll email you the specifics.

If I had departed from New Orleans on Sunday - the price goes up to $650! Wow staggering!

For those of you needing hotel info shoot me an email and I will send you the info. I spoke to my friend and got us a GRMPH block at a great price. You have to call the place to book in the block.. If you try to book it on line it will cost more.

My wife and I will be driving in on Thursday afternoon on the  Redneck  expressway (I-10)  I think it is so cool we now have an "Official" GFMPH Hotel for this event, GFMPH get better and better every day. Just hope your friend knows that there will be a lot of guys in public places discussing things like penis injections, sex toys and peeing down our legs, but being that this is in Louisiana he should be use to such frank discussions.  Best part is the hotel is walking distance to the adult toy store. yeah
