31 gauge is delicate. It will hurt a lot less, but my uro says it could be broken easily, so utmost caution with it. Is the uro doing the .2 in office? The first trial needs to be under supervision. At .2 I would be in the ER.
My uro says no to the auto-injector. Long story - I asked, but he is dead-set against it. I'm still dealing with the standard 30 gauge, and that was not his choice.
(added - he prescribed 27ga, but the pharmacy suggests 30ga)
