4-1/2 years ------ my, doesn't time fly.

Just got my latest PSA ------- four and a half years following the op. Despite the lab changing their assay equipment from the Siemens Immulite 2ooo to the latest Roche Cobas 8000, it came in again at <0.01. I celebrated by myself (wife is at work) with a pack of jubes and a pack of potato crisps (am I a party animal or what?). What I am looking forward to is, if the result is the same next August (it will be 5 years), I can begin to donate blood again.

BTW, what in heavens name are "jubes". Cant figure that one out.

I haven't been able to give blood in so long, no one in their right mind would want it, going all the way back to my prior cancers. In my pre-cancer days, I was a regular donor, and belonged to what they call here in the states, the "Gallon Clubs".

Enjoy this well earned victory, and celebrate for the rest of us.
