Hot spells?

I understand hot flashes come with HT, what about from not having a Prostate? I have been confined to a rehab place for three weeks, following me falling and severely breaking my ankle.
Except for an hour of PT, I am confined to a bed. The room is kept cool, from time to time I feel hot and get sweaty. Not too intense, not long lasting, but noticeable. Is this common following Prostate removal?

Decidedly no infection, been back to surgeon twice for recasting, re xraying. I have two plates and 13 screws holding Humpty together. I get one 10mg Lortab every 4 hrs, now the pain is tolerable. My new fav/mack daddy for pain relief is Diluadid. Immediately after surgery the pain was intense, the helpful nurse said if it's 6-8 I could have my first try of the Dilaudid. Smacked that pain down so low I actually got some sleep.....mmmmmm! Got lucky, got one of the best ankle docs in Athens. It was broken in three places, joint was dislocated, thirty five staples and all done in about an hour he said! Impressive.

Hey, the current trend with our aging population is converting nursing homes into these rehab places. Knee, hip replacements, broken bones, etc. Medicare pays 100% for 20 days. The staff is great, dedicated but only two nurses per shift....one doc, one day per week.I am over due for my third post-op PSA. I live alone and when the doc clears me to drive I'll get it done.....lot's of anxiety about that. First two were .1. I'll ask Uro about the hot spells. Because of the low responses, I'm guessing it might not be a usual thing.
