Chuck,
But coming back and reading again I think my first dose was .175 not .0175 which is what I thought I was doing and being overly cautious. said...
Following on to what RCS said, well, lets just put it delicately that you don't have a clue what you are doing and lets move on from there to get that fixed -- what do you say??
Firstly, no one specifies Trimix shots to 3 or 4 decimal places. (unless perhaps the doc wanted 35u to start and then you said no lets start at half that amount and got to 17.5u and that got translated to 0.175 ml?? Syringes are not that accurate -- even 1u accuracy is pushing things beyond eyesight unless you have a smaller capacity (.5ml or .3 ml are real nice).
So, if you are going back to discuss things with your Uro, I would strongly recommend you not just discuss but actually have the doc show you how much he recommends in an actual syringe using a bottle of saline water or something. Also be sure to bring some of your own syringes. If the pharmacy gave you some Clown Syringes by accident ( those scary giant ones you see in slapstick comedies) then he can fix that too. Once he shows you how much, then you should get to try it yourself and let him verify. No need to inject .. just to get the right amount down pat. Don't let him off the hook until you got it perfect!
That really is pretty bad that your first shot was such a disaster. Hopefully that will be the only one and you'll be back on track with the next one and many more happ[y returns after that.
Good luck and keep on tri-ing.
