:-) Tomorrow I will travel south to have the first cell collection done with my first provenge infusion scheduled for 10am this friday. It has been a long long wait and I am so ready to begin the process. Today I have to have a C.B.C. done at my local doctor's office. My last one was perfect so I am pretty sure this one will be the same. I had to go off of cassodex 24 days ago and I don't feel too good. My cough is coming back and I feel sort of icky and tired. Amanda and I had a weekend to ourselves and made love Saturday morning and last night with no E.D. medication. I could sooooo!!! be retired. I love the time off. It is going to be difficult to go back to work. I sure hope the Provenge works. Todd yeah

Wow, after all the planning and all the waiting, its finally time to get started. Will only be sending positive thoughts to you, your wife, your doctors, etc. Perhaps the Provenge will be the big turning point for you, and your life ahead. Looking forward to your ongoing reports as the treatment begins.

Hi David, Hi Bob,
Yeah, it's finally here. I have been house bound for a week due to lousy weather. I read three novels in the last week. I am very anxious to get the ball rolling. Fortunately I am able to keep occupied with contractor,s adjusters, and insurance people, as we undertake repairs to the home from the water damage. When I was last in Vegas, Dr. V. told me that with all of the new meds coming on line that finding the proper order of administration was crucial to the overall survival of patients. H/T is always the first go to drug because most of these other drugs require being castration resistant before being allowed to use them. If I had not failed H/T I would not be eligible for Provenge or Zytiga or MDV 3100 or any of the new amazing drugs that are coming soon. Chemo tears up the immune system so he believes and has scientific documentation that an immunotherapy should follow H/T. So H/T, Provenge, followed by zytiga and mdv with a slew of others thrown into the mix here and there along the way. Radium 223 and xl 184 are coming down the pike and finally ending with chemo as it does the most amount of damage to a mans body. Still I believe my goal of 30 years from dx to be a real possibility. Jesus take the wheel is an excellent song. I have a great story about that. It is in a post here at h/w/ somewhere in the archives of the last month. I cant even remember when I did it. Red solo cup equally good from another perspective. Nascar---- well as long as it aint Jeff Gordon. lol Thank you

Just saw the vampires and gave them a quart. Cbc psa testosterone. Shhe wasn' t pretty. In fact she was born tge same year as i was. Its amazing how so many people my age look so old. Then again I am pretty. Haha.

Right you are pretty - yup ok sure .. teases!

Zytiga seems to be working for me so far, though the Peridisone has its own set of fun filled things to live with. Still numbers are down which is good

Goal of 30 years - I had never put a number on my goal, its now dance at GiGi's wedding (who is 3 months old)

Good thoughts and our prayers are with you brother.

You are out this way 10 Sept as I recall?

Best to you and we hope all goes smoothly.....tommorrow is a Nationwide OWS thing happening, big cities with demonstrations all people should avoid totally being within those city areas. Think twice before you get anywhere near such happenings and stay safe. You will want to watch your news stories tommorrow, it may seem unreal....just sayin' and moderator close this if it turns to heavy discussion. I just want all to be as safe as possible. No itinerary as of yet but we are going to fly in hopefully early on the tenth. I hope to meet a few of my brothers and maybe share a meal. I am curious what my psa is up to now.
