Yup!! Me and my lady wife started our new job last week. We get to go over GiGi's house Mon, Wed and Thursday and hang out with her.

So far I've got to hold GiGi for a total of about 4 minutes, Mrs. Bud just will not let our little lady out of her hands. Life is good!

For those who do not know - Gigi is our first grandchild - she is now 15 weeks old. She had a hard time of it there for awhile and I asked our family here for good thoughts and prayers.

So far GiGi is excelling at her job, she sleeps, eats, goes to the bathroom, eats her hand, has a adorable smile and melts GrandPa and GrandMa's hearts with her smile and baby babble.

Happiness is looking at my wife, who is looking at her baby (our daughter) who is holding her daughter!

Congratulations. There is nothing like a grandchild.

Awwww,,my baby, Audrey, and her Brian, 28, just left our house. I miss her already, They aren't thinking about grandbabys yet, but when it happens, I hope hope it's as great as youfbGi Gigi experience!

There is nothing under rated about being grandparents, it is what fuels me to fight the PC beast. Bud, I can see you smiling from here in Alabama. smilewinkgrin

Bud, we are not grandparents, yet. But, we are probably not that far way. Sounds like you guys are the perfect grandparents. Have a great time!

Rad, I know that feeling. Had my only 2 grandchildren over for Sunday dinner today. They grow up so fast, as they are about to be 7 and 10. Where does that time go?

Bud, that is so awesome to read! What a grand job the two of you shall have!

I am missing my little rug rats very much right now. We are 400 miles away getting treatment and will be gone for 2 more months.

The longest I have been without seeing them, aside from vacation, is about 2 days.

My husband and I agree that this is the hardest part of radiation... not seeing our family.

Will shoot you a picture of my newest little bruiser via email.

Enjoy your new job! The benefits are topnotch! :)
