 Mine was pretty easy too. Worried Guy was already taken and I own a company that provides purified drinking water filtration systems for offices. When I am cold calling on potential customers I like to walk in to the office and say something like "Hi I want to be your water guy?. This usually breaks the ice with the front desk person and has worked for years.

I have gotten responses from HW members who think my nic has to do with continence issues, which have never been as issue.

Opa is the name given in Germany by children to their Grandfather. I met and married my beautiful wife in Germany some 47 years ago. We have five grand children, who call her Omi. So, I am Opa. N is the first initial of my last name.

Actually Montee is my password and *** was suppose to be user name, but for some reason, it picks up my password as my user name? But anyway Montee is the first name of my business (screen printing-awards). I got that name from an old 1800s rail road rural station that was 1/2 mile from my office in the country and the road that I grew up on.

Well like montee my username and password got mixed up.  I wanted GTOMAN because I restore '66 & '67 Pontiac GTO's as a hobby.  I had one in High School but wrecked it after only one year.  Handling isn't their strong suit.  After I turned 40 I thought I would try it again.  At one point a few years ago I had 4 of them.  I guess I drive better now.  Well sometimes anyway. You have to test them out now and then, right?
But, now I'm happy with Bertb

I am an extremely outgoing and gregarious guy. I think I have a good sense of humor and a creative side.

All of that being said, I don't have the best short term memory or recall. At the time I registered my wife had just been admitted into ICU and I had just that day been diagnosed. So I just used my nickname. Didn't think there would be much chance of forgetting who I was when I signed in.

I had to add a number to the end of it because somewhere along the line HW had another Sonny. I chose 3 because in my given name I am the 3rd.

Now ain't that just boring as hell.

I am not sure I have a good answer other than it seemed like a cool, easy-to-remember name. I am originally from the South (Tennessee).  "Southern Comfort" is a familiar phrase (to some) and it is a tip of the hat to my southern roots. I like to think I am an easy-going, comfortable kind-of-guy to be around. So, there it is. (By the way, most people say I have lost my accent and cannot guess where I am from.)

Way back in 1994 when I first started on the net, I found myself needing a screen name. I chose James as a common name, which isn't mine, and looked down under my desk and saw a couple reams of Champion printer paper, so it became James Champion, and shortened to James C. when I joined HW. I created 2 names actually and the James C. is my 'public' name, the other my private one, but sometimes I slip up and use the wrong one, especially when emailing folks, as I have done a few times here, confusing folks. I have used both of these names now for 18 years but for the most part on behind the firewall news groups. .

Bobbie is my first name. San is a Japanese honorific, roughly translated as "sir", or perhaps "dear" if between close friends. "San" used for males, "chan" for females. In memory of a friend who passed a few years ago and from how we addressed each other. I hope there is an afterlife. I miss her.
