PSA again / things seem stable

I usually drop by after every PSA test, here is my PSA history:

5/09   4.12

10/09 4.61

01/10 3.95

03/10 Biopsy clear

07/10 6.18

08/10 4.64

10/10 4.33

03/11 4.89

07/11 5.72

08/11 Biopsy one sample HGPIN, possible ASAP on Rt , inflamation on Lt

01/12 5.00

06/12 4.90

I am happy that the PSA is not rocketing upwards, looks like if something is going on its not happening in a hurry. Greg

No climb is good news. It appears that things have stabalized for now. I am curious as to whether you had a round or two of antibiotics after the 8/11 test for the inflammation, and if you had any relief or saw a dramatic change in how things felt in the belly? At my worst, I always felt like I had a low grade fire and tenderness with the prostatitis raging.

James, I have never had any antibiotics, never any discomfort at all. In fact no symptoms of anything. If it wasn't for the blood test on a physical I wouldn't be seeing a specialist and going through all these tests. I hold my breath on each PSA test, if it happens, it happens I guess. I am hopefull that many years will go by before I have to take any action. Greg
