AUS and vacuum device for ED. How do they work together? Any problems? Am about to see consultants for a chat about AUS, and bit nervous about losing what good sex I currently have.

Right now, without the AUS, the VED must be drawing out some urine? If you get an AUS that will probably help that some but it probably won't completly cure that issue. My guess is that you should not use the VED for a good while, say 6 weeks or 2 mo so that complete healing can take place. The VED or could put strain on the area where the AUS tube from your scrotum will enter your abdomen and could cause some type of herinia there . After you are completely healed I don't see how the AUS and VED can interfere with each other.

I had an AUS 800 a year ago and I agree you will need to wait at least the 6 weeks of healing before you use the VED.

I use both and note if  you don't urinate before you VED, I sometimes would have some urine in the tube .

Usually nothing major unless I needed to urinate anyway.

Best person to ask since we all are different is the URO who is putting in the AUS.   He should know more about your system than we do.

Good Luck,  AUS is great and VED works well for me.
