If we locked every thread that strayed a bit from the original post, we would lock most of the threads. Your not so veiled threat to lock this thread is so uncalled for.
You don't need "permission" from David to lock the thread, but use a little common sense.
Hey, at least we are still talking about the Walsh book. Speaking of which:
It is certainly acknowledged to be a classic. It was the first book I read and I found it to be chock full of information, something this newbie needed.
I am sure the second edition is greatly outdated as there have been so many new developments.
I will be looking forward to David's review of the newer edition.
