Hi David. The cartoon is pretty funny, but the expression on the cats face is priceless
. Reminds me of all the fun I'm missing now. Good to see that you have not lost your sense of humor.

Don't laugh to hard on this assembly line of docs, I had many DRE's with getting many opinions. One place they had two docs whom wanted to confirm the detection 'feel' on this, double indemnity (lol). Another place getting a DRE and 3 students happened to drop into the office room for a look see (lol), talk about
embar(ass)ing and one was a young gal, whom in parting said it was nice to meet you (lol). Another one was by a female radiologist whom made my wife leave the room and do a DRE (TMI-lol). So, lots of fun and wonderful memories and great to share them on the internet. Luckily it is all behind me now (ha-ha) and no more DRE's are in the mix. Don't you love hi-tech medicine?????

zufus, i thought DRE's for me was over after my
open surgery, but have had at least 5 since then, need to put a "no entrance sign" on my rectal area, had enough fingers up there for a lifetime

I remind my primary care doc that there is no need for a finger wave anymore, no prostate and no PSA, so keep your baseball bat of a finger out!

Great cartoon that brought back memories...
My previous primary care doc (retired) used to give me the annual finger feel. He was a real joker (I miss him, actually - he would spend 20 minutes just shooting the breeze with me) with a rather twisted sense of humor.
One time, after listening to my lungs and heart and all the rest of the stuff that goes with an annual physical, he reached into the bottom drawer, pulled out a vinyl glove that went from his fingers to his elbow, pulled it on all the way, and said, "Bend over sweetheart." I was laughing inside but wouldn't give him the satisfaction. All I said was, "You son of a b....!"
It's good to laugh.
