Saw the uro today so he could tell me in person that my PSA was undetectable and charge for an office call. He said he didn't need to see me for another year. I had been getting tested every six months, but I guess I'm starting to get on his nerves. tongue

Next step: Go see the PA for a lesson in stabbing myself with a needle in unspeakable places. The adventure never ends...

congratulations, thats one step toward eliminating PSA anxiety, as you no longer to be test so frequently, good going my friend

Thanks, fellas.

I asked the doc if there was some point where you were "out of the woods" with PSA tests. He said the two big milestones were at five and 10 years after surgery, after which time recurrence is "extremely unlikely." Only 3.5 years to go until that first milestone!
