Swollen Belly After RRP???

It's just been one week since surgery and I still look like I just ate a cow..how long before the swelling is gone? Passing gas now so figure it must just be from surgery. I see Dr. On Thursday but figured you guys have a lot of first hand experience so why wait.

It took me about two weeks to get rid of the bloating. I didn't start passing gas until around day 4.

i am assuming you had robotic surgery? if so, that seems to be a very typical situation, and hopefully, as said, it will subside over a short period of time. that was something i did not have to deal with, having had open surgery

It took almost 2 weeks before my swollen belly was back to normal, so give it more time as this is part of the healing process. Good luck on the healing and recovery.
