I went in and signed up this morning, just now I downloaded the PDF file (53 Pages), after a really fast scan I think this is very well done with lots of info we all can find of some use.

The Conclusion;
None of us would willingly chose to live with advanced recurrent prostate cancer, but having this disease is not the end of the world, nor does it necessarily portend an early end to your life. There are many ways to battle our disease while we continue to pursue a full and reasonably healthy life.

To accomplish this we need to learn as much as possible about our disease, to take responsibility for our own health and for treatment decisions. . . . KEEP ENJOYING LIFE.

I'm going to print out the document, grab a beer (cause it must be good for you) and go outside and read.

Zimac, I am so sorry you are having a rough spell! I am praying that it gets easier very soon and that your husband can get on a treatment that will help. You are not alone in this, remember that.

Thursday he will have a mediastinoscopy to obtain tissue in hopes we can find a better treatment for him. Met with the thoracic surgeon who said it should be pretty easy to obtain the tissue for molecular profiling. We will take one moment at a time. Today is already a better day.
